The Best Home Workout When Social Distancing

Workout from home

With social distancing being extended, that means that certain places will remain closed until this whole ordeal is over. This of course means gyms and exercise facilities will remain closed for the time being. Luckily, we have an effective full body home workout that will keep you strong and fit until the gyms reopen. This workout will be a functional cardio workout which is a mix of cardio and strength training. Follow this effective workout plan and you’ll have a body ready to show off once social distancing ends.

To start off, the layout of the workout will have timed circuits that target the upper and lower body, with core to finish the whole exercise. In addition, this workout is effective for all levels of experience. So here is how the best home workout when social distancing will play out,

Upper body (25 seconds per exercise, no rest in between each exercise)

  • Close grip push ups
  • Side to side push ups
  • Dips
  • Inverted Chin Curls
  • Seated Pull ups

Lower body (25 seconds per exercise, no rest in between)

  • Single Leg Box Squat
  • Jump Squats
  • Lunges
  • Sprinter Lunges
  • Heel Touch Squats
  • Calf raises

Core (30 seconds per exercise, no rest in between)

  • Sit ups
  • Crunches
  • Levitation Crunches
  • Reverse Corkscrews
  • Seated Corkscrews

Finish with 45 seconds to a minute of planks

Repeat for 1 or 2 more rounds to complete the workout

This workout may seem hard, and it probably will be when you do it for the first day. But later on this workout will seem like clockwork. Once this whole ordeal is finally over, you’ll have a body ready to show off that you didn’t even need a gym for.
