Top 3 Margarita Spots in LBK

A look at our Top 3 spots to have a margarita in the Hub City based on our Campus Live poll

Hey Lubbock, Valentine’s Day has passed and National Margarita Day is finally here!

This holiday is one for guys and gals alike who like to sip on a marg while have a night out with their friends, or enjoy day drinking on the patio while we hop into spring.

We conducted a survey on our social media platforms to see which 3 places had the best margaritas in Lubbock and I had to go give them a try for you.  What a tough job I have.

  1. Chimy’s– This is definitely the most popular place in Lubbock to get a margarita for the best price.  I personally loved the taste of their margaritas. They make them with Everclear (yikes), which will have you either one and done, or tipsy by #2. They also have yummy food like burgers, nachos, cheese fries, fried pickles and way more other drinks to choose from. I had the OG regular Marg here, and boy, if you are trying to get more for your buck, I recommend checking these out.
  2. Torchy’s Torchy’s is definitely known for their bomb tacos, but what better pairing with a taco than a “Damn Good” Margarita. These bad boys are definitely super yummy.  Whether you request salt or sugar on the rim, frozen or on the rocks, you have an assortment of different margaritas to choose from. I tasted their Mango Margarita and it was really good. They also have lime, strawberry, and can do swirl or just an original margarita.
  3. Teddy Jack’s- This place is definitely the place less people would think of to grab a margarita because they’re more known for their yummy food like chicken fried steaks, salads, or burgers. However, you’d be surprised when you visit.  You can also order one of their bomb margs on the side while you hang out with friends at this neat little joint with your friends or grub on a meal with your family. They have an assortment of drinks to choose from and are always so good. Their patio is amazing and they even have live music on select nights.

I may have caught a buzz in the process of creating this story but, it was all for a great cause and the greater good of the Lubbock Area.  I did the right thing and using an Uber, and I encourage you to do the same on National Margarita Day.

So, next time you’re out on the town, or looking for a different place to grab a drink, I recommend you try out these places and tell them Campus Live sent you. Have a Happy Margarita Day and remember not to drink & drive and always drink responsibly. Cheers.
