Texas Tech had 24 NFL teams on campus Monday to evaluate several Red Raiders
LUBBOCK, Texas – The road to the NFL began Monday morning for several Red Raiders as Texas Tech hosted its annual Pro Day event at the Football Training Facility and the Sports Performance Facility.
Tech had 24 teams in attendance as the likes of Dakota Allen, Ja’Deion High, Vaughnte Dorsey, Jah’Shawn Johnson and Antoine Wesley looked to impress scouts in various measurements such as the bench press, the 40-yard dash and the shuttle run.
John Bonney, De’Quan Bowman, Demarcus Felton, Preston Gordon, Clayton Hatfield, Payton Hendrix, Kolin Hill, Tony Jones, Tre King, Dominic Panazzolo and Andre Woods also took part in the nearly four-hour event.
The Red Raiders will continue to train and meet with various NFL organizations over the next month in anticipation of hearing their name called April 25-27 during the 2019 NFL Draft. The three-day event will be held in Nashville, Tennessee for the first time with television coverage provided on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network.
