Healthy Fast Food Options for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner.

Eating clean day in and day out can be a struggle. Sometimes you’re just not feeling it and sometimes you just forgot to cook. With fast food always just around the corner, it can be hard to resist the urge but just because you have fast food once in a while doesn’t mean it has to be a calorie buster. Check out these options from your favorite fast food places that are surprisingly healthy-ish!

Breakfast: Dunkin’ Donuts Wake-Up Wrap

“Get your day started with Dunkin Donuts” that sounds like a bad move entirely until you realize this hidden gem only packs 190 calories and 11 grams of fat! Stick with the egg ham and cheese if you’re sodium conscious (which we all should be.)

Lunch: Chick-Fil-A Grilled Nuggets & Side Salad

One of my personal favorites when it comes to eating out is always Chick-Fil-a. From the service to the quality of food, you can always expect a pleasant experience coming here. My go-to order here when I’m on the go. Is the grilled nuggets with side salad option, for the price and the nutritional value it’s really hard to beat. You can spice it up with some low-calorie honey mustard and light Italian dressing and you won’t even realize its fast food.

Nuggets: 140 Calories 3.5g of Fat and 440 mg Sodium

Side Salad 160 Calories 11g of Fat and 180 mg of Sodium

Dinner: Chipotle Steak Bowl.

This simple but delicious dinner has a bit more packed into it than the items above but its dinner, it should be that way. You definitely have to be careful here and know what you’re ordering or your meal could turn into a calorie buster here. Remember the golden rule less is more. Stick with Steak or if you don’t eat meat check out the sofritas. Just add brown rice, veggies, lettuce, and green salsa for a low calorie & fat dinner that will fill you up. It’s a heavy on the sodium so make this a rare treat.

Chipotle Steak Bowl: 400 Calories 12g Fat 930 mg of Sodium

Keep in mind these fast food options are not recommended for daily consumption. Home cooked meals are the best way to know exactly what you’re putting in your body. Take the time to find something that works for you and your body will thank you.
