Adventure the Outdoor Activities in Lubbock

Enjoy the outdoors in Lubbock!

Times are more than a little weird right now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have some adventures outdoors with friends or family. There are still plenty of activities to do in Lubbock that allow you to stay socially distant and help get your mind off reality’s “new normal”.

Adventure Park

Adventure Park is a great location to spend a whole day outside doing multiple different activities. The park has indoor and outdoor attractions that are fun for all age ranges. One of the popular outdoor attractions is the ropes course. It’s the only outdoor climbing park in West TX! other outdoors attractions they have are bumper boats, go karts, mini golf, a huge playground, and indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Two of their recently opened attractions are a mountain bike trail and TWO zip lines! If the weather starts to beat you down, you can always head inside to play arcade games, try a lazer maze, bumper cars, and a virtual reality 360 Omni Arena.

SUPLBK

SUPLBK is a paddle board rental service in Lubbock. They are set up on Dunbar Historic Lake and offering paddle board rentals for $20 an hour, and $35 for 2 hrs. Soak up the sun on the paddle boards then hop into the lake to cool off. This is definitely not an activity you think of when you hear “Lubbock”, but it’s available, so take advantage while you can!

4ore!

4ore! Is a great place to check out if you want to swing the clubs but don’t want the heat stroke that comes with playing a full 18 in the middle of 110 weather. This venue is still outdoors, but they have large fans and shade to keep you cool. Along with the interactive driving range, they have food and drinks to keep you entertained and satisfied.

Lubbock Water Rampage

Lubbock Water Rampage is a water park in Lubbock open now! The park features a wave pool, lazy river, kiddie pool, water slides, and picnic areas. With the leisure pool at the Rec still closed down for the time, this a great replacement option to cool off from the heat. On certain nights throughout summer enjoy a movies in the wave pool!

This are only a short list of options that are still open and ready for you to enjoy. We hope this helped you make plans for this weekend to get outside and enjoy the outdoors!
