Meet the Drum family, this month’s West Texas Family of the Month. At Campus Live, it’s all about you, Red Raider Nation. Families are an important part of the values that reflect the West Texas climate, and we’re excited to feature a monthly family who enjoys the tradition, values, and fabric of our great region.

Q: What about West Texas keeps your family in this area?
A: We were all born and raised here in Lubbock. Both of our parents own their own businesses and that inspired us to open our own. The people in the Lubbock community and how they help each other, are also what keeps us here. We love Lubbock and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
Q: What fun things involving Texas Tech do you and your family enjoy doing?
A: We never miss a home football game. Our entire family goes to everyone single one of them, even some bowl games. We also enjoy basketball, we love baseball, and we love all the extracurricular things Tech holds, such as meeting the teams after big wins, theatre performances, and Carol of the Lights.
Q: What does your family do recreationally around town?
A: We are a team roping family so we spend

A: Nicest people ever
Q: How does your family feel about all of TTU’s recent sports success?
A: We are still celebrating basketballs achievements! They are amazing. Baseball is on a hot streak as usual, and we even watch at work. We love what Kirby and the coaches are doing for Tech sports. We bleed Red and Black.
